At least in these projects below, the glitter is in fact gold. More Christmas tags are in production in my loft, with glitter getting everywhere! My husband might freak out with the excess of glitter floating around - he keeps accidentally wearing it.
This tag is gold and cream paper. The cream is embossed and then I took a glue pen and "bled" the glue into the embossed image, and sprinkled with gold glue. The Angel is heat embossed, as is the "Happy Holidays":
Same theory with this tag - embossed and then followed the guide of the embossed image to add glue and glitter. The foil leaves I had left over from a project last year.
